For fibre optic Internet & mobile services the invoice date is the 1st of the month. Payment normally comes out of your bank account a few days afterwards.
For rural 4G and UK TV services we invoice on date of the month you were first installed and the billing system requires payment by credit or debit card within 7 days of the invoice date to ensure continuation of services.
We will always try to provide you with the best possible viewing experience, whether you have a Broadband or a mobile connection.
there's a few elements to consider though when viewing live, HD or 4k TV. For example...
Internet Speed
You will need a speed of around 5 Mbps download (downstream) as this will allow the video stream to get to you without buffering (juddering). To test your speed it's actually quite simple. You can visit http://www.speedtest.net or http://speedtest.googlefiber.net/ (we find that the Google test gives more accurate results and if you're using your mobile phone doesn't ask that you install their app).
Number of Devices Connected
The number of devices you have connected to the Internet can significantly impact your connection speed. Typically we would suggest that you need around 5 mbps for each device connected. So, for example, if you have a TV, computer and 3 phones all using the Internet to get a stable connection to all 5 devices we would suggest that you need around 25 Mbps download speed. Obviously this can fluctuate but we find it's a good rule of thumb.
Device Being Used
We would never dictate to a client that they MUST use our equipment. You're welcome to use whatever device you like. We have clients watching TV on their phones, tablets, computers and of-course Smart TVs. However, considering that the videos we stream are of high definition quality we would always ercommend that any device you use has at least 4 GB RAM & 32 GB Flash Memory.
This isn't to say the programs or videos you watch will buffer on a smaller or lower memory device as we have SD (Standard Definition) versions of all our channels but to get the best viewing experience we recommend the above.
Installing our player is super simple.
For Android:
- Go to https://www.tenerifetelecom.com/tv/TTMS.apk
- Download the file
- Open file and install
- If required change settings to allow the installation of apps from unknown sources
- Once opened just insert your username and password
We'll send you the user credentials once the account has been created.
For Apple:
Go to the app store and download & install "supa legacy iptv".
Once installed provide us with the MAC address of the device (iPhone or iPad) and we can create an account for you on our servers.
By the time you receive it your 4G router will already have been configured and is ready to use.
The most important thing is the location of your router. It will need a power supply and will automatically make a connection to the strongest 4G signal it finds.
One way of finding the ideal location for your router is to cimply use your mobile phone (with the WiFi turned off) and visit www.speedtest.net and see what speed you get from different locations around your home or office. Wherever you get the best speed is most likely also the best location to place the router (although it may be using a different network).
Getting Started:
- Plug in the router
- Once the WiFi is on and blue you can find the router and connect to it with your devices
- On your device (phone, Laptop etc) look for the SSID displayed on the base of the router
- use the password on the base of the router or that was provided
That's it, you're now connected !
